George Khachfe is an artist based in London, specialising in Fine Art, painted with a confident and expressionist aesthetic.

George Khachfe has always been passionate about art. However, the path to becoming an accomplished artist as he is today has been a rather unconventional one.

He began an apprenticeship at Beirut's largest architecture and design office when he was 16. He was working during the day and attending night school at night. It was then when he learned to draw designs. Even so, deep down, he always wanted to create art and even tried to paint directly on a framed surface filled with boiling tar.

However, his artistic endeavours were put on hold as he became interested in filmmaking and wanted to study film and become a film director. He firmly believes that there aren’t banal stories, with a good build-up, everything could be interesting and gripping. However, he never realised his film director's dream.  He stayed with the architectural firm, learning everything he could about architecture and design. At the same time, he constantly challenged himself to broaden the creative horizon, even when he was working under the most restricted rules.

When he was working on projects for the King of Saudi Arabia's palaces, George did not restrain his creative thinking to the preconditioned classical confinement. He would introduce modern fabrics, turning the classical palace into a stylish space with a touch of modernity.  Through these undertakings, he learned to dare himself and solve the challenges with passion and creative thinking.

After successfully built up his business empire and eventually became CEO of Poliform UK, George was ready to take on a new challenge – enrolling the painting lessons at the prestigious Heathley School of Art in Chelsea.  That was in 2013 and 7 years later, George continues to create paintings every day, firmly and surely becoming one of the most original artists of our time.
